Who are we?

The Southeastern Louisiana Home Builders Association, Inc. (SLHBA, was chartered in 1979 and is a non-profit 501 c (6) trade association affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and the Louisiana Builders Association. Our membership is comprised of builders and associates who make the shelter industry their primary profession.

Mission Statement

SLHBA is a professional organization which strives to unite and represent the building industry in St. Mary, Assumption, Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes.  SLHBA is dedicated to the idea of quality housing at affordable prices, thus protecting the “American Dream” of homeownership.
